360 degree view of the ruins and cemetery in Jimena de la Frontera

Jimena Castle was constructed by the Moors around about 750ad as part of the new settlement of Jimena and was chosen for its excellent strategic military position. It was built on the ruins of a Roman settlement and constructed using the local limestone  and is also the location of the town´s   cemetery.
