酒泉法幢寺,大法幢寺位于肃州城北2公里处讨赖河畔北崖梧桐湾，占地110余亩，寺院坐北向南，依崖傍水，站在塔顶向四周望去，祁连雪峰尽收眼底，周边林荫叠翠，流水潺潺，景色迷人，寺庙错落有致，亭亭玉立。殿宇为仿唐建筑，塑像端庄古朴，与敦煌莫高窟艺术一脉相承，此艺术出自著名雕塑家何鄂之手。该寺也是原中国佛协常务理事、甘肃佛协会副会长、大法寺方丈融照大和尚驻锡之寺。2001年2月扩建工程开始，2003年底完成了佛塔和卧佛主体工程。佛塔为9层八角楼阁式建筑，高40.8米，号称西部第一塔。卧佛殿为双重檐殿堂，东西九开间，其结构为钢筋混凝土雕塑贴金，长36米，高8米，2007年底完成塑造及殿堂工程，四壁绘制释迦牟尼佛像故事，二楼设置千佛阁，完工后将成为目前国内乃至世界最大的室内金卧佛，整个卧佛殿气象宏伟，金壁辉煌。
