The Liwu River cuts through the hard marble, forming a V-shaped canyon. At its outlet to the Pacific Ocean, it creates a delta and multiple river terraces. On the uppermost terrace, there is a 2,000-year-old archaeological site. These rich cultural and natural landscapes are the beautiful sights seen from the Dekalun Trail in Taroko National Park.
