Milford Sound
New Zealand

Milford sound is a fjord located on the south-west coast of NZ's south island. It was formed by glaciers during the last ice age, which cut deep valleys, the floors of which are now below sea level. Milford sound is one of the wettest places in the world, with an average annual rainfall of 6.8 meters.
