Standing inside the living room of an old mining residence at the Diamond Tunnel near Eureka, Nevada. There are a number of old buildings leading up to the main entrance of the mining tunnel, which like most mining areas in the state was for silver. Mining around Eureka started around 1874. This residence, as well as another one, had these unusual large-scale murals on the wall of random people, all dressed in formality to the era. Maybe they were relatives of the live-in? Rather unusual if you ask me.
