Montespertoli, Florence, Italy, loc. La Leccia

Montespertoli (pronuncia del toponimo: /montesˈpɛrtoli/[3]) è un comune italiano di 13.302 abitanti (2012)[4], tra i più estesi della provincia di Firenze.

Il suo territorio si estende tra Val di Pesa, Val d'Elsa e Val di Virginio. È citato in documenti dell'XI secolo; nel '400 fu per breve tempo libero comune, prima di cadere sotto l'influenza di Firenze.

Tuttora sono molti i fiorentini che vengono a vivere in questo paese, in quanto è relativamente vicino (20/25 km), e nello stesso tempo permette di vivere lontano dall'inquinamento urbano. Il turismo è prevalentemente legato agli innumerevoli agriturismi presenti nella zona.
