Surrounded by mountains, Tianliao District's Moon World has a special geological shape that includes valleys and rivers. The Dagangshan Mountain on the west side of the Moon World has a limestone terrain with spikes and sharp ridges due to rainfall erosion. With its landscape similar to that of the moon, this placed has been named Moon World. The nearby "Lanyu Tower" built in traditional Chinese architecture allows tourists to enjoy the view that includes the Sun and Moon Temple and the Peak Moon Palace. Tourists could also have picnics around the area.
