National Academy of Sciences Great Hall, 2nd Level
Washington, DC

UMBC's Imaging Research Center is creating an iPad app that visitors can use to explore and understand the elaborate gold-leaf painted dome of the National Academy of Sciences Great Hall.  The building, with its elavorate dome depicting an early 20th century view of science, sits on the National Mall at 22nd street and was recently refurbished.
