Mt Niesen is a mountain just west of Interlaken in the Berner Oberland region.

After riding steep funiculars to the top of Mt Niesen at 2362m, you can continue to enjoy the panorama views along the trail as you hike down to the middle station, where you can catch the funicular down the rest of the way. The trail starts along the ridge, so you get 360 degree views around the Berner Oberland region. It’s a mountain trail that requires good shoes and steady footing, but it’s not particularly dangerous, suitable for average hikers and children with hiking experience.
