North Petherwin Church, The Chancel
England

The church of St Paternus at North Petherwin was founded in the 12th century and the three large round pillars on the north side of the nave date from this period. Most of the rest of the church dates from the 14th and 15th centuries. There is some fine carving at the base of the waggon roof in the north chapel.
