Old Church Dromore Co Tyrone
UK

The old Church is located on a rocky promontory. It is post-Plantation in date & appears on the Down survey map of 1655-60. It consists of a rectangular nave 20m x 7.5m with a 7m square transept projecting from the middle of the S wall. A number of architectural details survive, including several windows. The building is surrounded by a disused graveyard & a brief excavation in 1991 discovered burials within the church, below floor level.
