洲子灣位於淡水鎮興仁里，淡水鎮的淡金公路旁，沙灘長遠遼闊平坦多沙，即無亂流也無礁石，且又面對湛藍的台灣海峽，海岸平坦多沙，屬於半月形海灣，一片無垠的碧海藍天，令人心曠神怡，煩慮盡釋，使其風光更加明媚。

二十年前風光一時的「洲子灣海水浴場」已經休業多年。只有假日才有識途老馬來玩水、垂釣。地方上完全沒有設施。
