Eines der bedeutendsten Klöster in der Osttürkei aus dem 10. Jhdt. Oschki wurde zwar im Stil armenischer Kirchen gebaut, doch gehörte das Gebiet damals zum georgischen Königreich Tayk (Tao) gehörte.
