Overlooking the Vrsic Pass

View from the top of the couloir overlooking the Vrsic Pass - the highest mountain road pass in Slovenia, built by Russian war prisioners during the WWI. Trail heading to the Mojstrovka peak goes from the Parking lot near the road and leads through forrest up the gully that ends here, where the panoramic photo was taken. To the left is Mojstrovka peak, 2300 meter high, popular 2000+ peak due to it's position which is close to the road.

Area is located in Triglav National Park in Slovenia, home to the highest mountain peak in this part of the Julian Alps, Triglav (2863m).
