Painted Hypogeum - Constantza (panorama by O. Liviu Vasile)

The tomb was discovered in 1988 close to the steep Constantza shoreline and was part of a necropolis area in which about 200 tombs were escavated. It was built in the first half of the 4th century A.D. and used in two phases, until the beginning of the 5th century.
