The territory of the polar station Tikhaya Bay (Buchta). Former magnetic pavilion. Today - residential building of the National Park Russian Arctic.

Polar station Tikhaya Bay (Buchta) was founded on 30 August 1929. There were conducted meteorological observations, surveillance of ice cover, ocean, animals. Polar station was closed in 1957. Now here is the base of the National Park Russian Arctic and the open-air museum.
