Piz Bernina, 4,049 m above sea level, located in the Pontresina region, Upper Engadine, canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. It stands out in the surrounding landscape as it is the highest mountain in the canton of Grisons. In terms of beauty and impact it surpasses many other mountains of approximately the same height.

The Piz Bernina separates two glacial valleys, the Tschierva Glacier to the west and the Morteratsch Glacier to the east, and gives its name to the entire Bernina Massif, which is about 20 km long. It stands out for its nature offering unique long-range views from its summit.
