Pyra, Greece
Greece
Pyra, also known as Pyra of Heracles, is a mountain village in Central Greece, situated at 1,160 m on the slopes of Mount Oeta. Steeped in mythology, it is said to be the place where Heracles lit his funeral pyre to escape the poisoned tunic of Nessus. This 360° photo was captured here in August 2025.
