Rambynas hill
Lithuania

Rambynas is a hill on a bank of Nemunas river in Lithuania. It is believed that here was a castle build by Skalvian tribe (Baltic tribe related to old Prussia) and destroyed by Teutonic knights during crusade in 1276. It is said that later this place was used as a religious centre of Lithuanian pagans.
