Saint Nicholas Church / Biserica Sfantul Nicolae din Iasi
Romania

Saint Nicholas Church is a Romanian Orthodox Church built in years 1491-92 by Stephen the Great. It is located on Str. Anastasie Panu nr. 65, near Old Princely Court with a direct view of the recently renovated Palace of Culture and Casa Dosoftei directly across the street. The church was reconstructed several times and also had additions. Almost all the rulers of Moldavia were anointed here. There once was a fortified wall around the church with now only the ruins of one side of the wall remaining.
