Saint Pierre Ravine Des Cabris

Ravine des Cabris is one of the first zones of population of Saint-Pierre.  Marked by its past times
deeply rural, the sugar cane, the mango and coffee constituted the principal agricultural productions.  Today, the neighborhood becomes urbanized and tends to be, in the space of around fifteen years, the principal residential place of the city. The neighborhood knew how to preserve his picturesque and authentic character. It is here that the legend of "grandmother Kal" was born:  Old embittered woman roaming to the research of children to devour. Prosaically it would be a slave woman named Kal who would have desperately thrown herself in the river after the death of her son.
