The Regional Museum of Araucania is a public institution that is committed to responsibly serving the community.

Has the role of conservation, research, disseminate and apply the different cultural heritage value that coexist in the region at different times and spaces, thoughtful and purposefully contributing to the construction of local histories and memories.

The Regional Museum is a depository and custody of tangible represented in their collections looking for documentation, management, conservation and outreach to the wealth of future generations. It also has the mandate to advise and assist in the rescue and valuation of heritage material in this region.

This museum in an effort to educate materially, maintains an open, inclusive and non-discriminating with their visitors, with the aim of educating and entertaining in a participatory way about your collection and cultural heritage of the region.
