Viewing one of the spatter cone vents at the Spattercone Nature Trail outside Old Station, California.  The location consists of a couple volcanic vents that created the Hat Creek Lava Flow some 30,000 years ago, as well as nearby Subway Cave.  An interpretive loop trail goes 1.5 miles stopping at 17 points of interest.
