Black Rock (6900'/2103m) summit (gigapixel)

Gigapixel view from the top of Black Rock (elev. 6,900'), a relatively obscure & unknown unranked summit east of Hornbrook, California.  It is a large pillar of rocks that rises above the dark forest & is in close proximity to the higher nearby Eagle Rock to the north.  Views here include Ball Mountain & Willow Springs Mountain to the south, the Shasta Valley & distant Klamath Mountains w/ views also of Preston Peak, Mount Ashland, Pilot Rock, & Mt. McLoughlin.  Look in the rock by the bushes to see the etched name P.F. Aveline dated 1939.
