The Rookery, Streatham Common

The Rookery is a formal garden at the top of Streatham Common on the site of the former Streatham Spa where people would drink water from local springs for their medicinal and healing properties. One of the wells, which can still be seen, dates from 1659. The gardens include a secluded rock garden with a small stream running through it.
