Officially known as the Seng Choon Keong Temple, locals affectionately call it "Tokong Mek." It is one of the oldest Chinese temples in the state, serving the Peranakan Chinese (Cina Kampung) community. The temple is shrouded in mystique and is believed to be guarded by a deity referred to as "Mek." It is a testament to the multicultural harmony that exists within the Islamic state of Kelantan.
