View of the core of the Trinity Alps from above Caribou Pass in the Trinity Alps Wilderness, California.  Here one can see Caribou Mountain & Sawtooth Ridge to the east, distant Gibson Peak in the Red Trinities, & the massive granite faces of Sawtooth Mountain, Mt. Hilton, Thompson, & Caesar Peaks.  Probably one of the best views of the range, one can also see Caribou Lake on the north side & Emerald/Sapphire Lakes in the long glacial valley below.
