View from about 3,000 meters elevation of the road leading to the top of Volcán Barú in Parque Nacional Volcán Barú west of Boquete, Panamá. Various wildflowers & plants are found on the approach up to the summit & this location is a sample of some of the unique flora of which includes:
Inset 1: Centropogon granulosus
Inset 2: Swamp shield-fern (Cyclosorus interruptus)
Inset 3: Telanthophora grandifolia
Inset 4: Shaggy soldier (Galinsoga quadriradiata)
Inset 5: Shrubby fuchsia (Fuchsia paniculata)
Inset 6: Bomarea hirsuta
Also in view are the common large leaves of Poor man's umbrella (Gunnera insignis).
