Völklingen Ironworks - blast furnace

Der Aufnahmestandort dieses Panoramas liegt neben dem Triebwerksraum des Schrägaufzugs. In nördlicher Richtung geht der Blick über die Kokerei zu den beiden Schlackebergen der Hütte. Im Vordergrund sieht man die in einem anderen Panorama gezeigte Stampf- und Ausdrückmaschine, dahinter liegt der alte, runde Kohlenturm. Weiter in östlicher Richtung liegt der zweite Schrägaufzug, über den der Koks von der Kokerei auf die Gichtbühne der Hochöfen transportiert wurde.

In Richtung Osten liegt eingerüstet die Trockengasreinigung.
