Viseu Catedral Varanda Conegos
Portugal

1738 - 1739 - construction of Varanda or Passeio dos Cónegos, by Manuel Ribeiro Alves; making of the balusters on the second floor of the cloister. One of the elevations of the Cathedral is extended by the Varanda dos Cónegos, marked by a colonnaded walkway. Interior with a high choir occupying the three naves, based on fallen arches and guarded by a balustrade. In the last pillars of the nave, there are the square, confronting pulpits, accessed by spiral staircases around the pillar, with a carved guard.
