Windmill- Holíč

The impressive three-storey building a stone mill from the eighties 19th century is situated in one of the western Slovak cities - in Holic. In Slovakia in the 19th century built so. type of Dutch windmills, such as barbers mill. Its foundation was brick building with a circular footprint. Its floating roof with a wind wheel, according to the needs of the filmed wind direction. And the mill was in Holic until 1926 with a rotatable conical roof mounted wind wheel. Rotating roof was replaced with brick mill was stopped kupolou.V ground after the First World War. The mill fell into disrepair long until it is local hunting association after 1970 could be reconstructed.
