雅鲁藏布江(Yarlung Zangbo River)—"山南地区段"


雅鲁藏布江,在古代藏文中称央恰布藏布,意为从最高顶峰上流下来的水。它的源流有三支:北支发源于冈底斯山脉,叫马容藏布;中支叫切马容冬,因常年水量较大,被认为是雅鲁藏布江的主要河源;南一支发源于喜马拉雅山脉,叫库比藏布,该支流每年夏季水量较大。三条支流汇合后至里孜一段统称马泉河,但在扎东地区也有称该江为达布拉藏布,藏语马河之意;或叫马藏藏布,藏语为母河之意。拉孜地区叫羊确藏布。拉孜以西,雅鲁藏布江统称达卓喀布,藏语意为从好马的嘴里流出来的水。曲水一带地方,藏语叫雅鲁,该江流至山南一带叫雅隆(因山南地区有条雅隆曲得名),因此,才称这条河流为雅隆藏布。但在曲水地区念作雅鲁,因为“鲁”藏语确切语音称“隆”,意即从曲水以上流经河谷平原的河流,所以全段河流总称雅鲁藏布江。
