• Elle est souvent appelée cascade de Fachoda, du nom du vestige du fort situé à son sommet. Elle est classée parmi les plus hautes du monde à environ 28ᵉ rang selon certains classements. Un bassin naturel à ses pieds, nommé Bain Loti, invite à la baignade, rendant l’endroit à la fois spectaculaire et rafraîchissant
