Il Ponte Principi di Spagna, più noto come La Salve, costruito nel 1970 per fornire un accesso alla città attraversando il fiume Nerviòn, ha guadagnato popolarità quando nel 1997 é stato inaugurato il Museo Guggenheim costruito fondendo letteralmente la sua struttura con il ponte sul quale successivamente, nel 2006, è stato aggiunto un portico rosso disegnato dall'artista francese Daniel Burenche riprendendo la struttura curvilinea del museo.
