The beautiful Kata beach in the district of Karong on the Island of Phuket in southern Thailand. The sand on the beach is very fine and a nice white. On the northern part where this panorama was taken there are long boats that take tourists on island tours. Fancy a longchair? It will cost you 100 baths about 3.30USD per day. Cheap hey? Feeling hungry? the average Thai dish in a local restaurant is about 130.-Bath so around 5$.
