Khoo Kongsi was proud to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the clanhouse, that was rebuilt after the original building was destroyed by fire in 1901. It is a building rich in architecture and heritage. It must not be missed out in any heritage tour of Penang. It was once a beacon of hope for the Khoo clansmen who made their journey from China to the promised new world of Malaya. The clanhouse now serves as an excellent example of heritage conservation and restoration.
