Balıklı Caddesi’nde yer alan medrese, Kanuni Sultan Süleyman döneminde Rüstem Paşa tarafından 1550 yılında yaptırılmıştır. Yapıdan günümüze gelen orijinal kısım kesme taş malzeme ile yapılmış doğudaki portalıdır. Yapılan kazılar sonucu medresenin temelleri ortaya çıkarılmış ve restorasyonu yapılmıştır.
