To approximately 3 km from Santa Maria de Redondo or only 2 km if we leave the car at the entry of a closed mine of coal, one finds this beautiful place of the Montaña Palentina that local people know as Ribero Pintado.

Geological forces have compressed and turned strata of different nature up to adopting an almost vertical position; then erosion has given the aspect with which we see them today.
