The Church of St. Marks crowns the hilltop town of Veprinac, offering fantastic views over the Adriatic and costal mountains. It's a great place to start a walk from, and lies on the Opatijska planinarska obilaznica (Opatjia Mountain Way). The church itself was redesigned in Baroque style in 1680, but is built on a much older site.
