McKinley Mine (interior)
California

The McKinley Mine is an abandoned gold mine west of Yreka, California.  This main entrance is just off the forest service road & is partially caved at the entrance, hence the crosscut is flooded with crystal clear groundwater.  I didn't bring deep enough waders so perhaps I will explore it on a further date.  In this view one can see about 300 feet within.
