This massive statue of a bare bodied man, holding an eternal flame above his head and symbolises the contribution of youth in the development of Indonesia. The monument stands in the centre of a pond at the southern end of Jalan Jenderal Sudirman. Locally it is affectionally known as the Pizza Man.
