Along the side of Red Mountain in the Marble Mountain Wilderness west of Greenview, California. Here one can see a mainly red peridotite landscape w/ some prominent whiter talc (soapstone) outcroppings. The peridotite is extremely rough & grippy walking on while the talc has a slippery feel.
