Wideford Hill overlooks Kirkwall and Scapa Flow from this viewpoint there is a path around the hill to a neolithic chambered cairn.

There is a good view of the South Isles from here. If you follow the road over the hill there is a good view of the North Isles and on a clear day Fair Isle can just be made out.
