The Kapellenweg is a pleasant and enjoyable path, especially during the summer months, that connects Saas Fee to Saas Grund in Switzerland, almost entirely along the Gorge Alpine gorge. A path with majestic views, it features 15 small chapels along its route, each telling a story from the life of Jesus Christ. The focal point of the entire trail is the Gnadenkapelle, Chapel of Mercy, known as Zur Hohen Stiege.
