Radiostation Gleiwitz Gliwice 1
On 31 August 1939 was the target of a transmitter Gliwice sham attack. Hitler said in his speech [2] 1 September 1939 but not specifically about it, but generally of 14 border incidents that had occurred at night [3]. created between March and July 1944 in Gliwice, four sub-camps of Auschwitz I. In March 1944 I Gliwice, Gliwice II in May, June and July Gliwice Gliwice IV III. On 18 January 1945 dissolved the four warehouse in Gliwice. On 24 January 1945, the city was occupied by the Red Army.
