I'm an electronics engineer by training, and I love travel and photography.
I like exploring different aspects of photography/image processing and I have been interested in spherical panoramas since I first discovered them in 2002. The idea that one can capture the entire spherical scene in a single photo was enthralling and I had always wanted to learn to make them. I followed developments in this field, from the old QTVR panoramas till when panoramas started appearing in the more flexible Flash format.
In 2010, I made my first such panorama using the 18-55mm kit lens that came with my DSLR, a tripod, and a Nodal Ninja MKII panohead. Many of my panoramas since have been made using this setup and HDR bracketting.
