Beetle monuments in Szczebrzeszyn
Poland

Beetle monument in Szczebrzeszyn - monument unveiled in July 2011 , is located on the market square (T. Kościuszko Square ) in front of the town hall . The author of the 2-meter monument cast in bronze is Zygmunt Jarmuł. The cast was made in the sculpture studio of Karol Badyna in Krakow.


The second, older monument, unveiled in September 2002, is located at the foot of Castle Hill, near a spring near a historic mill. This monument was made of a lime tree trunk (3 m high and 1 m in diameter) by the students of the High School of Fine Arts from Zamość , under the supervision of Zygmunt Jarmuła.
