Traduzida por sua arquitetura colonial, assim e a cidade Mariana, primeira capital, primeiro bispado e uma das mais importantes cidades historicas de Minas Gerais. Fundada em 1711 e dona de um dos mais belos conjuntos arquitetonicos representativos do barroco de Minas Gerais, Mariana apresenta acentuada ascendencia do artista Antonio Francisco Lisboa, o Aleijadinho. Sua estrutura retangular e formada por tres praças principais, a Civica, Intendencia e da Matriz.
Na Praça de Minas Gerais se encontram tres monumentos historicos da cidade: a antiga Casa da Camara e Cadeia, a Igreja Sao Francisco de Assis e a Igreja Nossa Senhora do Carmo.

These four were labeled the world's fastest developing large economies in the year 2001.Brazil is known for three things: amazingly beautiful women, carnival, and Pele -- King of Football, Athlete of the Century, football ambassador of the world and a declared national treasure.Brazillians can tell foreigners a mile away, by the way their hips move.
