Each cottage is characteristically well-furnished, equipped with all modern conveniences, and has an enchanting name and a unique charm. The Old Mill, originally a corn mill, dates back to 1819. It retains much of its original character, including the old oak beams. The Nest was originally the dairy – where farmhouse cheese and butter were produced. Where The Haywain, formerly the old harness room, had a hayloft above, now it has twin bedrooms. Lime Tree Cottage was part of the stabling for the farm horses. Barleymow, Court, Oatmeal and Chaff Cottage, The Granary, Stewards House, Game Lodge and the Byre complete the site. The Bondholder laundry provides two washing machines and two tumble driers.
Some properties have a dishwasher and all have a telephone, television and DVD (a free DVD library is available).
The Byre, a two bedroom cottage, has been specially adapted for accompanied wheelchair holidaymakers.
