位於本鎮延平里延平國小附近集山路(台三線)旁沙東宮後方。

九二一震災發生，車籠埔斷層貫穿本鎮延平里沙東宮後方照鏡台公園，範圍雖不大，但留下完整地震斷層活動遺跡，為地震活教材，經各方人士奔走努力，終於得以保存，並妥建為地震公園，為世紀大災難留作見證，並提供為研究教學重要實物。園內有一原本巍峨古樸的照鏡亭，內建巨型銅鏡乙面，與前幛「照鏡山」遙對，尚有清嘉慶君遊台灣時見絕色美女在此照鏡梳妝的遺韻典故。

園內還有一面清朝咸豐十年遺留的「嚴禁盜採竹筍」古碑，碑文記載透露出先民生活的梗概，民眾於憑弔震災或研究斷層之餘兼能緬懷先民生活，頗饒趣味，留待您親自來發掘體會。
